A fabulous image of a steam locomotive from the Junior Lecture Series. There are 8 images in the series altogether each of a different steam engine (watch this space for more at a later date). The faint dappling around the image is, I am afraid, a sign of the age of these marvellous slides, each over a hundred years old. More another time!
